ABOUT ME
My interests have always been deep in the arts, while also gravitating towards investigating, researching and finding out why things are the way they are. I majored in fine arts in high school and college, and later textile design. I enjoyed the handiwork, and technical aspects of weaving, knitting, and screen printing. When it became evident I needed to challenge myself to learn something new, I discovered a perfect match for myself in User Experience design. I am intrigued that designing a website or an app happens mostly away from a computer, and instead is largely the result of speaking directly to users/customers, planning, strategy and understanding user needs, and then coming up with a solution. It also ties in well with what I have been doing in textile product development, as they are very similar processes moving from a concept through to a finished product.

I enjoy my two small dogs, indoor plant garden, listening to live music, going to the beach and designing T-shirts, tote bags and collages. I want to own an airstream one day soon. And a pig.
